BCJSBTF CONVENTION.

The BCJSBTF Convention will be held at Steveston Buddhist Temples on September 15,16 and 17. The convention will begin on Friday Sept.15 with registration and light refreshments followed by a social get together.

Saturday will begin the annual AGM. The Buddhist convention service will follow the AGM and after a lunch break, the keynote speaker will give a Dharma talk. After the talk, there will be small group activities. After the group activities, there will be some free time between 4- 6pm. The Banquet dinner will begin around 6:30 followed by entertainment – Traditional Odori Dancing group and Taiko group.

Sunday Sept. 18 will feature a Special Buddhist Service followed by farewell greetings and hand out of Bento lunch.

This Convention has been held since 1954 (2020 and 2021 cancelled due to pandemic). The majority of the attendees are survivors (100 of 120 attendees).
