FVBT FAMILY MOVIE EVENTS.

The FVBT will host monthly showings of Japanese language (with English subtitles) or Japanese Canadian culturally relevant movies. These events will be open to any Japanese Canadian survivor and their friends and families as a social event to bring people together. This invitation will be extended to any JC Survivor in the Fraser Valley as well as members of the Vancouver Buddhist Temple and the Steveston Buddhist Temple.
Following the movie (or in the middle as an intermission) tea and light refreshments will be provided to allow for some time for socialization.
Following a showing of each film, any copy that we own may be made available to survivors through a lending library program that we will operate. These films may also be available to other JC organizations.
