KAEDE WELLNESS BOWLING TOURNAMENT.

We have been a bowling club for 50 years and bowl weekly at Grandview Lanes. We would like to host a Bowling Tournament on March 16, 2022. There would be approximately 40 bowlers (8 teams of 5 comprised of members and invited survivors). The grant would help to cover the lane rentals, prizes, and a bento lunch. Everyone will get an eco bag, Tenugui, & small prize. All costs will be covered and our club will contribute $300. Participating in a team event with friendly competition gives seniors a sense of belonging, combats loneliness and isolation from loss of spouses and COVID-19, and enhances social contact and friendship. The delicious bentos gives everyone something to look forward to and provides exercise & improves fitness.
