BENTO BOX.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the uprooting of Japanese Canadians during WWII from British Columbia, the Manitoba Buddhist Temple would like to have Bento boxes available to the Survivors in gratitude of the difficulties and hardships they endured and for their strength and resiliency in overcoming adversity.

We have identified 36 members.
After the Sunday service – Offer a free bento lunch to the survivors and a charge to balance of the Sangha attending. For those survivors unable to attend we will deliver.

Suggested months:

January – first service of New Year
March – Spring Equinox – Ohigan
April – Hanamatsuri
May – Keirokai
July – Obon
Sept – first fall service – Ohigan
December
Bento lunch will be catered by Yujiro.
