KEIROKAI SPRING 2023.

Historically, the NCS of Lethbridge and Area hosted Keirokai events every three years until 2016, to honour those community members who have reached the age of 80 years. Our last Keirokai was held in summer 2016; board members at the time decided not to hold an event in 2019 due to the workload encumbered by a small number of organizers, and after this the pandemic put a hold on any large social events.

The current NCS board feels that the community needs an event to bring everyone together in person once it is safe to do so. Therefore, we are proposing to host a Keirokai event in Spring 2023, to celebrate our 80+ seniors with their families and to encourage the resurgence of a feeling of community. We hope that by this point that it will be safe, and that people will feel safe once again to gather in person.
